Silk protein is a natural polymer material with good mechanical properties, chemical properties, biodegradability. In view of the structure and characteristics of silk protein, this paper reviewed the status quo and development of silk protein as microcapsule, bone tissue repair materials, artificial nerve, artificial blood vessels and other features of biomedical materials, as while discussed the prospects for their development.
