The soft power of culture is the invisible spirit force of a country or a nation which can affect other countries’ intention, in terms of the attraction of political systems, the values of charisma, literary and artistic appeal, the charm of national imagine, etc. It has the characteristics of hidden art, the unlimited options, the durability and permeability. At the same time it has the social integration, cultural assimilation, educational making,the improving of political legitimacy and other functions. This paper analyzes the characteristics and functions of cultural soft power, and probes into the promotion strategy and path of cultural soft power.
