Based on the real operation information of the power grid and the investigation data on relevant power sta -tions, the operation manner and the startup mode of the generator units in Jinping Ⅱ Hydropower Station is discussed. The purpose is to find the optimal operation and startup mode which can fulfill the technical requirements of the power grid and also keep a safe and stable operation of the generator units.
