Poetry and Fu on Snow in Southern Dynasties: a Comparison

诗、赋发展至南朝出现同一题材并为诗、赋二体所关注的特殊现象,咏雪即为典型案例。南朝咏雪赋不但体现了南朝文学写实的总体倾向,而且还承继了汉赋虚设问对的"驾虚"体制特征,又因赋体的铺排特性,其情志抒发直接酣畅。而南朝咏雪诗则因对仗、属对的讲求,敷陈有限,略微点逗,故抒情婉转含蓄。此外,南朝咏雪诗、赋语词关联而构句胡越。

There is a special phenomenon that poetry and Fu describe the same theme in the Southern Dynas- ties. Snow is the typical theme. This not only embodies the tendency of realistic writing, but also inherits the fea- ture of Fu of the Han dynasty. With the arrangement feature of Fu, the feeling is expressed directly and lively. With particularity on antithesis, the poems on snow in the dynasties express emotion tactfully.
