苏中抗日根据地地处华中抗日斗争最前沿。苏中区党委、行署在复杂险恶的斗争环境下,领导苏中抗日军民对敌伪展开经济斗争。苏中区经济建设,以农业为重点,坚决推进减租减息,并初步构建起统筹统支的正规化财政体系。

Central Jiangsu province anti-Japanese based area is located on the cutting edge of anti-Japanese struggle in Central China.The Communist Party and anti-Japanese democracy government led people and their army to develop economical struggle against Japanese enemy and its puppet. This struggle emphasized on agricultural production by developing the Rent and Interest Reducing Movement and initially constructed a regularized financial system.
