Study On The Systematicity Of The Demonstrative Pronoun In Ancient Chinese:Taking the Analects of Confucius as examples

文献所见的古代汉语指代词数量繁杂,主要原因在于其并非一个单一的系统。指代词是一个封闭的类,指代词的功能与分布研究应该在一个同质的系统里展开。在共时、同质的条件下观察,《论语》的指代词是一个多维的系统,系统内各成员之间存在严格的对应关系。这种方法可以为古汉语指代词的系统性研究提供参考。

The numbers of demonstrative pronouns in ancient Chinese literature are large and complicated, and the primary cause of this problem is that the demonstrative pronouns are not in a single system. As all known that demonstrative pronouns is a closed part of speech in language, and the study on its functions and distributions should be restricted in a homogeneous system. Studying on the synchronic, homogeneous conditions, the demonstrative pronouns in the Analects of Confucius compose a multi--dimensional system, whose numbers form strict corresponding relationships. This method can provide a reference for the study of the systematic of demonstrative pronoun in ancient Chinese.
