校园足球活动是我国振兴中国足球,促进青少年身体健康,活跃校园体育文化氛围的一项有力之举。而经过三年的发展,西部地区中小城市校园足球活动的开展情况任然有些不尽如人意,其发展受到了很多因素的制约,使得其发展速度较为缓慢。其原因主要来自社会经济方面、思想观念方面、地理方面和校园足球文化氛围方面。因此,要解决这些问题,消除这些制约因素,必须从领导方面、管理方面、考评机制方面、资金方面、观念方面、校园足球文化氛围方面和地方实际情况方面入手,走一条适合西部中小城市校园足球活动发展的特色道路。

Campus football is a powerful move of revitalizing Chinese football, promoting adolescent health and activating culture atmosphere of campus sports. After three years＇development, the situation of campus football in small and medium - sized cities of western China is still unsatisfactory. As many factors restricted the development of football activities, so its growth rate is relatively slow. Such restrictions mainly owed to social economy, ideas, geography and culture atmosphere of campus football. Therefore, in order to solve these problems and remove restrictions, a characteristic road that fits for the development of campus football in small and medium - sized cities of western China must be taken by taking into consideration of the real condition of leadership, management, evaluation mechanism, funding, ideas and culture atmosphere of campus football.
