摘要
大学英语写作教学是大学英语教学的薄弱环节。长期以来,教师只注重写作技巧的的讲解,忽略了学习动机的培养。学生由于缺乏学习动机,无法主动地进行写作练习和能力培养。将ARCS动机设计模式运用于写作教学中,有利于激发学生的写作动机,帮助他们提高写作水平。
English writing teaching is the weak link of college English teaching. For the last decades, English teachers only focus on teaching of writing skills, neglecting to cultivate students 'writing motivation. Due to lack of motivation, students are not active in writing. Application of ARCS motivation model in English writing teaching can stimulate students to write in English and help them improve writing ability.
