摘要
经过多年的发展,CPU虚拟化和内存虚拟化技术已经成熟,但是I/O虚拟化技术一直是虚拟化技术发展的瓶颈,也制约着整个系统虚拟化性能的提升。目前,Intel的VT-d技术已经能够实现Passthrough I/O功能,而且还通过VT-d和网卡虚拟化实现了SR-IOV技术,有效地解决了I/O虚拟化中的诸多问题。
Through years of development, CPU and memory virtualization technology has matured. But the I/O virtu- alization technology posts a bottleneck to the development of virtualization technology, and restricts the performance of whole virtual systerrL Currently, the VT-d technology of Intel has achieved Passthrough I/O functions. Intel also achieved the SR- IOV technology through the VT-d and network card virtualization to solve problems of I/O virtualization effectively.
