中加农产品贸易:结构特征、竞争优势及其互补性

Agricultural Trade between China and Canada: Structural Features,Competitive Advantages and Trade Complementarity

本文运用集中率(CR)、格鲁贝尔—劳埃德指数(G-L)、竞争优势指数(TC)、贸易互补性系数(TCI)等指标,在描述中国与加拿大农产品贸易增长和结构特征的基础上,进一步分析中加农产品的竞争优势及其贸易互补性变化。结果表明:中加农产品贸易以中国从加拿大进口为主;中国主要从加拿大进口谷物和油脂油料等土地密集型产品,主要向加拿大出口动物产品和园艺产品等劳动密集型产品,贸易集中度高,且主要为产业间贸易,基本反映了中加双方的农业资源禀赋特征;由于农产品竞争优势变化及贸易互补性上升,今后中加农产品贸易有广泛的发展潜力。

This paper describes the growth and structural characteristics of agricultural trade between China and Canada using the concentration ratio （CR）, grubel-lloyd index （G-L）, trade competitive index （TC）, trade complementarily index （TCI）, etc. Also analyzed is the change in the competitive advantages and the trade complementarity between agricultural products of China and those of Canada. The results show that： （1） China＇ s imports from Canada account for a main proportion in the bilateral agricultural trade between China and Canada; （2） the fact that China mainly imports land-intensive products such as grain and oilseed from Canada and exports to it labor-intensive products such as animal products and horticultural products, characterized by high trade concentration and inter-industry trade, reflects the characteristics of the two countries＇ agricultural resource endowments; （3） there is a huge potential for the development of China＇ s agricultural products trade with Canada given the change in the competitive advantages of agricultural products and the increasing trade complementarity.
