高职院校大学英语与行业英语结合的难点与对策

Difficulties and Countermeasures of the Combination of College English with Vocational English in Higher Vocational Colleges

高职院校的大学英语不仅要帮助学生打好语言基础,更要注重培养学生实际应用语言的技能,特别是用英语处理与未来职业相关的业务能力,即实现大学英语与行业英语的结合。但由于高职学生英语基础差,要实现大学英语与行业英语的结合难度大,笔者结合教学实践对大学英语与行业英语结合的难点和对策进行探讨。

College English teaching in higher vocational colleges not only has to help students to lay their language founda-tion, but also has to cultivate students’practical application of language skills, in particular those dealing with the future career-related vocational capabilities in English, that is to realize the combination of college English and vocational English. However, due to poor English foundation of those vocational students, it is difficult to achieve the combination of college English and voca-tional English. Thus, the author, combining her teaching practice, discuss the difficulties and countermeasures in combining col-lege English and vocational English.
