“Landscape Complex” and Landscape Design

中国是具有丰富文化传统的国家,但令人遗憾的是,在我国每年巨量的景观建设工程中,能够体现我国文化精神的设计是很少的。一方面认为现代景观设计应该是"国际化"的,而另一方面也仅从表面符号表现中国文化特征,很少有从文化精神层面来体现中国文化特色的现代设计。文章从分析中国传统自然观与相关的艺术特征为切入点,探究传统自然观的成因与中国文化的"山水情结",分析中国传统艺术中的文化内涵,以便从内在精神层面来理解传统文化的价值,更好地指导现今的设计。

In our country , there are large quantities of construction projects each year .While at the same time , China is a country with rich cultural traditions .But there are few designs that can reflect the Chinese cultural spirit .On the one hand , the landscape design is taken to be internationalized;on the other hand , considering the cultural traditions , it is only re-flected by the surface symbols , while being unable to make modern designs that can reflect the cultural spirit characteristics of China.This paper, with the traditonal Chinese view on nature and its unique artistic traits as the breakthrough point , ex-plores the “landscape complex”of Chinese culture and the causes of the tradional views on nature , analyzes the cultural connotation of the Chinese traditional art , to understand the value of traditional culture better from the inner spiritual level to give a better guidance to the modern design .
