The Enlightenment of Confucius “the Way of Great Learning”to the Party Construction Work

建设社会主义核心价值体系是共产党的核心功能。要把社会主义核心价值体系"修之于国",共产党人就必须走上《大学》所说的"大学之道",从"格物致知"开始,把社会主义核心价值体系"修之于身""修之于党",通过党组织的培育示范,把社会主义核心价值体系普及到人民群众中去。

The core task of Chinese Communist Party is to build up the system of socialist core values, and ap-ply it into the country. In order to reach this goal, the members of Chinese Communist Party should go on ＂the wayof Great Learning＂ that was discussed in The Great Learning. We can start from ＂obtaining knowledge by investiga-tion of things＂, and then apply the system of socialist core values to ourselves and then to the party. After educationand demonstration by the party＇ s organizations, the system of socialist core values could be popularized into themasses of people.
