The cause of internal leakage of the current thread locking ring heat exchanger was analyzed and the advantages of various kinds of inner gaskets were pointed out. It＇s found out that reducing the thickness of the inner sleeve and the pressure difference of the hydraulic test is helpful to control the in- temal leakage Finally some ideas for improving the heat exchanger are put forward.
