在翻译研究中,圣经翻译有极其重要的地位。《新译本》是第一本由华人学者集体翻译的版本,有特殊的地位,但在文本、出版以及翻译策略方面受到了赞助人的影响。但成功的圣经译本必须得到读者的普遍认可,忠实是一种翻译伦理。

Bible translation is of great importance in the history of translation studies. There is a special place for The Chinese New Version （CNV） which was the first collective translation by Chinese scholars. It was manipulated by its patronage in terms of text, publishing and translation rules. However, by describing the fact, this paper argues that a successful bible version shall be widely appreciated amongst the churches. Hence, faithfulness is an ethical decision.
