China Import and Export Fair （the Canton Fair）, has been held biannually in Guangzhou for 58 years. It is a comprehensive fair with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most exhibit varieties, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China. For over half a century, Canton Fair has never been interrupted despite the turbulence in the international economic and political arena. Renowned as ＂China＇s No.1 Fair＂, it is seen as the bellwether of China＇s foreign trade situation. As the overseas demand fluctuates, and new trade promotion platforms emerge, the role Canton Fair plays is rather different from what it was years ago. Rather than placing and taking orders directly on the Fair, exhibitors come to the Fair to exchange information, keep relationship and show strength.
