University library’s comprehensive cabling system is an extremely challenging construction project, especially the design of the subsystem in the working area is a difficult and key point in library’s comprehensive cabling design because the quality of the design of subsystem in the working area is directly related to the success and failure of the whole comprehensive cabling system. Based on expounding library’s comprehensive cabling, functional partition and intelligent system, this paper analyzes the impact possibly caused by insufficient network information port, and puts forward the construction steps of library’s comprehensive cabling project.
