In Princeton University, the General Education Program （GEP） consists of distribution areas, writing and foreign lan- guage. Based on the idea that ＂every student could get real liberal education＂ , Princeton designs characterized GEP for the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Engineering. Princeton adopted the distribution requirement model, transcended the boundaries of specializa- tions, emphasizes on developing students＇ writing ability, implemented strict curriculum assessment criteria, and established a com- prehensive curriculum quality assurance system.
