思想政治素质是理工科大学生素质的重中之重。该文从政治态度、政治鉴别力、政治理想、政治敏锐性等角度分析了当代理工科大学生政治素质的现状 ,并结合专业特点 ,指出了培养理工科大学生政治素质的现实意义。最后在如何培养和提高理工科大学生政治素质这个问题上作了初步探讨。

Political quality is the most important for the students in scientific and engineering college. In this article the author analyzes the present situation of the students' political qualities, as viewed from their political attitude, political ideas and political sensitivity. Then, the author points out the importance of building up the political quality of the students who are in colleges of science and engineering. Furthermore, the author discusses how to improve those students' political qualities.
