There is a paradox in the theory of Heraclitus'flux between variance and invariance, which leads to the key concept in Heraclitus' philosophy, logos and furthermore the mysterious features in his aesthetics. The author, based on the above discussion, points out the demerits and limitations involved in the traditional dualistic thinking mode.
