Historical Evolution of the Chinese Dream in Modern Times

中国梦是当前的热点理论问题,国内学界对其进行了丰富的理论解读,但关于近代以来我国社会梦想演进的研究还有待深入。回顾中国近代史,从太平天国运动到洋务运动,再到维新运动,从辛亥革命到新民主主义革命,再到社会主义建设与改革开放,不同历史阶段的社会梦想构成了中国梦的历史基石;而贯穿其中的主导思想、社会主要矛盾、实践主体、价值目标的不断发展演变,恰恰是我国社会梦想演进的历史主线和内在逻辑。深入研究近代以来我国社会梦想的历史演进,有利于更好地了解和把握中国梦提出的现实价值。

A current hot theoretical issue, the Chinese dream has been theoretically interpreted in various ways by domestic and foreign academic worlds. However, studies about its historical evolution needs to be furthered. A reminiscence of modern Chinese history shows that different social dreams shaped the historical foundation stone in different historical phases, from the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom through the Westernization Movement, Modernization Movement, the 1911 Revolution, Neo-democratic Revolution to Socialist Construction and Reform and Open-door Policy. The main social contradiction, guiding lines, practicing subjects and ideological aims throughout all these historical changes varied continuously, which was just the historical mainline and in- ternal logic. Therefore, a deep exploration of the logic of evolution of the Chinese Dream will provide historical enlightenment and realistic basis to realize the Chinese Dream as soon as possible.
