McIntyre's Critique of Modern Moral Philosophy

麦金太尔以对现代道德哲学的批判闻名于世。现代道德哲学通常由三个部分组成,即道德主体理论、价值理论和规范理论。在麦金太尔看来,现代道德哲学的这三个部分都存在根本的错误:道德主体理论的错误是自我的个人化,价值理论的错误是善的私人化,而规范理论的错误是德性的边缘化。

McIntyre is famous for his critique of modern moral parts, namely, theory of moral subject, value theory and regulato philosophy, which consists of three ry theory. To him, there are basic mistakes in the three parts： the mistake of theory of moral subject lies in the individualization of self, the mistake of value theory in the privatization of good and of regulatory theory in the marginal- ization of virtue.
