Son of the Nature:Thoreau and His View of Nature

生态环境问题早已成为各领域学者们担忧和探讨的主题。其中,美国作家梭罗的生态自然观对后人产生了巨大的影响。受到了清教徒思想、中国儒家、道家思想及超验主义等思潮的影响,梭罗崇尚自由、简单的自然生活,反对过度的物质追求欲;他虽崇尚科学,却无法认同其凌驾于自然之上;他认为自然与人类的关系是平等的、亲密的。学习梭罗和他的生态自然观可以引领我们热爱自然,保护自然,有着重要的现实意义。

The eco-environment problems have long been the concerns of scholars in all study fields. Thoreau,with his special view of nature,has exerted great impact on the later generation.Influenced by Puritanism,Confucianism and Taoism from ancient China and Transcendentalism,Thoreau was in favor of simple life and opposing the excessive pursuit of materials.He advocated science,but took stand against any behavior that ignored the nature.In his mind,nature should be in equal or even higher position to human beings.Probing into Thoreau＇s extraordinary view of nature will spur us to better protect our nature.
