摘要
目的:研究高强度玻璃纤维增强新型不饱和聚酯基树脂(unsaturated polyester,UP)桩核的制作方法及机械性能的测试。方法:1合成不饱和聚酯树脂后注入连续高强度玻璃纤维,合成玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯树脂桩核。2制作出长度19mm,直径13mm的玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯树脂桩核9支。3测试玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯树脂桩核的机械性能,包括弯曲强度、弹性模量。结果:玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯树脂桩核的弯曲强度1060MPa,弹性模量27.7GPa,与牙本质的弹性模量相近似。结论:玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯树脂桩核具有良好的机械性能。再进一步的临床生物安全检测后,玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯树脂桩核将可应用于临床。
Objective: To develop a method of fabricating a new unsaturated polyester (UP)-based composite reinforced with high-strength glass fibers and to evaluate the mechanical properties of the material. Methods: High strength continu- ous glass fibers were impregnated into the UP composite to fabricate the compound material, which then were used to pre- pare 9 composite posts (19ram in length & 13turn in diameter). The mechanical properties (bending strength & elastic mod- ulus) of glass fiber/UP composite posts were measured. Results: The average of bending strength and elastic modulus of the specimens was 1060MPa and 27.7GPa, respectively. The elastic modulus of the specimens was similar to that of the dentine. Conclusion: The newly developed UP composite posts reinforced with high-strength glass fibers showed optimal mechanical properties. Further biological safety testing of the material in clinical practice is needed for a successful application.
