Ukrainian Higher Education in the Bologna Process:Reforms and Challenges

在欧洲一体化和国内高等教育停滞不前的双重压力下,乌克兰于2005年加入博洛尼亚进程,对本国高等教育学位体系、学分体系和质量保障体系进行了深入的改革。改革取得了明显的成就,但也面临着新旧体制并存、政府与高校间的分歧和教育市场化危机等重重挑战。乌克兰高等教育会因这次改革比过去更具国际竞争力。

Under the pressures of integration of Europe and the stagnation of development of national higher education, Ukraine joined the Bologna Process in 2005. From then, Ukraine reformed its system of higher education in such areas as the degree system, quality assurance system and credit transfer system. Ukraine not only gets some achievements in this reform, but also faces challenges, including coexistence of old and new higher education institutions, the di- vergence between government and autonomy, the crisis of marketization of higher education, the contradiction of cooperation and competition of higher education. Ukrainian higher education will become more competitive than before.
