生态翻译学视角下译的“三维”适应与选择——以《百万英镑》为例

On the Translation of The Million Pound Note from the Prospective of Eco-Translatology

在生态翻译学的视角下,通过对马克·吐温短篇小说《百万英镑》译文的分析发现译者在翻译时既要传达出原语所承载的语言、文化和交际的"三维"信息,又必须适应以目的语读者为要素的翻译生态环境,对译文内容进行选择,满足读者的理解与需求。

Based on the theory of Eco Translatology, this paper analyzes the translation of The Million Pound Note, concluding that translator should not only convey the three-dimensional information, i.e. linguistic, cultural and commu- nicative, of the original language, but also should adapt to the eco-translatological environment, in which the target lan- guage reader is viewed as the vital element, and make the appropriate selection about the content of the translated version to satisfy the readers comprehension and requirement.
