秦更年过录本何焯校《苏学士文集》传自钱泰吉转录之元本,又以唐仁寿过录钱本、《四部丛刊》本所附何校对勘;其中内容确有胜出诸本之处,于苏舜钦诗文的研究大有裨益,是一个传录何校的珍本。钱泰吉、秦更年二人的校语不仅可以补正何校之不足,其传录何校之精审,诸题识、跋语所展现出的人文精神和诗学文献价值都值得为学林所重。

The Collected Works of Su Xueshi, revised by He Zhuo and copied by Qin Gengnian, was from the transcript of Qian Taiji and emended with the edition of Tang Renshou and the edition of Sibucongkan. The contents of this book are superior to other versions. The book is valuable to the study of Su Shunqin＇s poems and is regarded as a rare edition. The additions and corrections made by Qian Taiji and Qin Gengnian could not only make up the deficiency of He Zhuo＇s edition, but also the humanistic spirit and the poetic literature value showing in it are worthy of academic attention.
