Selection of material and forging of die block are very important and key for extrusion die of aluminum profiles. Through a example, the forge techiques for the die block of upper die with boss were introduced, including the selection of materials,process scheme and forging proces,the design of forging die. The annealing process was introduced also. Such that the strength of die is improved and cost is reduced.
