Academic Value of Huangming Sichao Chengrenlu Compiled by Qu Dajun

《皇明四朝成仁录》是清初明遗民屈大均所撰的一部"当代史"。其书虽未竟成,却因率先保存了清初广东、广西、海南等沿海地区抗清斗争的珍贵实录,保存了北方清廷占领地区抗清斗争的重要资料,较为系统地反映了明清之际的时代形势和社会变迁,成为清前期南明史撰述综合性成果的开新尝试,具有重要的学术价值。

As Huangming Sichao Chengrenlu is an unfinished book of the contemporary history compiled by Qu Dajun, one of the adherents of Ming Dynasty. It had important academic value for original records of the anti-Qing struggles in the coastal regions such as Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan provinces;and also the northern regions of China conquered by the Qing Court. In addition, this book reflected systematically the changes of the times and the society between the later Ming dynasty and the early Qing dynasty, proved to be an important attempt on the comprehensive historical book of the Southern Ming in the early Qing dynasty.
