在辛亥革命的历史进程中孕育而成的三民主义,不仅铸就了辛亥革命精神,而且后经"中华民国"这一现代国家理念熏染,在跌宕起伏的历史演进中陶铸了顺应发展潮流、凸显时代内涵、彰显进步理念的民国精神。正是这一时代精神,不但底垫了辛亥革命更为深远的历史价值和深层意蕴,而且在民族危亡的紧急关头,该精神成为志士仁人们激励民族情绪、唤醒民族意识、彰扬民族精神以建立现代民族国家的精神纽带。尽管此后的民国精神曾被多次阉割或篡改,但却始终在民族危机的最紧急关头凸显着它的精神动力和价值张力,并在社会变动与时代助推中实现着中国近代社会更深层次的新陈代谢。

Three People＇ s Principles of Sun Yat-sen formed in the 1911 Revolution cast the spirit of 1911 Revolution, also molded the spirit of Republic of China which means to follow development trend, to highlight the times connotation and to show the advanced ideas. It was just this age spirit that not only floored the profounder historical value and in-depth implication of 1911 Revolution , but also became the spiritual tie to inspire nationalist sentiment, to awaken national consciousness, to show national spirit to build a modern nation-state in an emergency national peril. Although the spirit of Republic of China has been cut and changed repeatedly, it always showed its spiritual power and value in emergency national peril and realized the progress in modern China.
