Safety is one of the basic requirements of human being. It is the the premise and important support to Constructing healthy living environment. Building s outside environment are carriers and conditions of crime, and it could reduce the occurrence of crime through the effective environmental design. For architecture and urban planning, it is an important issue of human habitat environmental design. it means crime prevention and control through environmental design, short for CPTED, it emphasizes on increasing the safety of potential victims. Researches on"CPTED" went deep gradually in the developed countries in recent years, and applied to the practices of design and public safety administration. The relative researches are just budding in our country. This paper discusses how to build a healthy living environment on the basis of CPTED theory starting from analyzing building's outside environment as well as taking criminal condition as the research object.
