Research about Features on Book Editing and Proofreading Activity in Northern Song Dynasty

北宋时期的编校活动主要是在官方的组织下进行的,因而成果丰硕。编校人员对典籍进行反复编校,不厌其烦,以至于形成了三校、他校、对校等一系列的编校制度。官方主导的编校活动,为其后来走向民间奠定了基础。

Book editing and proofreading in the Northern Song Dynasty were mainly conducted under governmentor-ganization,which had brought forth fruitful results. During the time,the editors did not mind taking the trouble of editing and proofreading the ancient books repetitively,and established a series of editorial regulations such as proofreading for three times,by other people and in comparison. The government-led editing and proofreading activities laid the founda-tion for the later non-government transition of such activities.
