Acceleration of Household Eldercare System in Community of Nantong's Urban Area

养老服务业是关系到千家万户,为民服务的民生大事,这不是一个老年问题,而是每一个人都要面临的生命问题。文章根据对南通市街道、社区、居家养老服务中心以及社会专业养老服务机构等单位进行抽样调查,结合部分地区居家养老服务体系发展经验,着重提出了南通市城区社区居家养老服务体系建设的建议。

Eldercare is the concern of all households and significant for livelihood. It＇ s not a problem only for the old but a problem which all of us have to face in our life. Depending on sample investigation on units like sub-districts, communities, household eldercare centers and professional retirement homes, and the some areas＇ experience of developing household eldercare system, the article provides suggestions for the establishment of household eldercare system in community of Nantong＇ s urban area.
