摘要 简述了鲍威尔的生平,回顾了他对改进照相乳胶并将其用于核研究过程和发现π介子所作的贡献,论述了他善于组织大规模的研究和多个团队的协作,有一丝不苟的工作风格,不畏艰险坚持创新发展的精神. We narrate briefly Powell's lifetime and review his contribution to improve the photographic emulsion which was applied to nuclear research and his discovery for pion. We also discuss his style of work, such as he is good at organizing large-scale research and cooperation of many groups, his scrupulousness about every detail, as well as his consciousness of making innovations bravely.
