Phellinus Baumii has a long tradition as a folk remedy, and polysaecharides and flavones in the mushroom fruit bodies have been reported to exhibit various types of bioactivity. This paper reviews recent advances relating to the structure and pharmacology of PheUinus Baumii in order to provide a source of reference for futher research on this mushrrom.
