Case Analysis of Rational Drug Use in Elderly Patients with Diabetes Mellitus

通过临床药师对1例老年糖尿病患者治疗方案的评价,探讨老年糖尿病患者的临床合理用药。老年糖尿病患者病情复杂,发生并发症的风险高、器官功能逐渐衰退,药学监护应建立在循证基础上,选用对肝肾功能影响小、低血糖风险低的药物,重点监测药物相互作用和药品不良反应。

The evaluation was carried out by clinical pharmacist of the therapy regime for one case of elderly patient with diabetes so as to explore the reasonable medication in elderly patients with diabeties mellitus. The older individuals with diabetics mellitus usually have complex illness conditions with a high risk of complications and their organ function declined. Therefore pharmaceutical care should be provided on evidence-based medicine, the drugs used should have the least impact on liver and kidney function and a low risk of hypoglycemia, and the drug interaction and adverse reactions should be monitored.
