Kupffer cell is a kind of important than substantive cells in the liver. It is recognized as a variety of biological function and it＇ s crucial on the role of the form of the liver fibrosis （ hepatic fibrosis） . This paper collected Kupffer cells related to the latest re- search progress at home and abroad, introduced the basic characteristic of Kupffer cells, promoted liver fibrosis formation mechanism and corresponding treatment.
