王质《诗总闻》体现的学术思想与方法

Intellectual Mode and Method in Wang Zhi's Shi Zongwen

王质是宋代《诗经》研究史上的重要人物,其《诗总闻》是他历时三十年而编撰的学术专著。该书废序言诗,独创"十闻",他的论说"因情求意",以示今古虽异、人情不远,以比较批评的方法扬弃前人之说、树立作者之意,并且征引屈原《离骚》、焦氏《易林》进行《诗经》解读,尝试比较品评,多发个人新见,具有独特的思想和方法。

Wang Zhi was an important figure in study of The Book of Odes in Song Dynasty. His Shi Zongzven was compiled and written over a course of thirty years. It emphasizes poetry rather than prefaces to poems, and Wang Zhi＇s theory of ＂Yinqingqiuyi＂ was innovative, breaking with tradition in its focus on human feelings and relations. With the method of comparative criticism of what forefathers said, he holds to set up the intention of the author, and quoting Qu Yuan^s Li Sao and Jiao Shi＇s Yi Lin, he com- pared evaluation. It is with this peculiar rigor that Wang Zhi conducted a critical survey of The Book of Odes, unique in individual perspective, thought and intellectual method.
