With the development and implementation of ＂one belt one road＂ strategy, Chinese equipments have entered into a new era of going global with strides. Going global will be faced with much higher quality and efficiency requirements. Plant engineering consulting will provide strong support for high-quality and high-efficiency equipments to go global. This paper introduces the important roles of plant engineering consulting in serving Chinese equipments to go global, identifies challenges and obstacles, and explores ways and channels for plant engineering consulting industry to serve the process
