雌激素硫酸化相关酶SULT1E1和STS与子宫平滑肌瘤发病的研究

Study on estrogen sulfation enzymes-SULT1E1 and STS in pathogenesis of uterine leiomyoma

摘要 目的:探讨雌激素硫酸化相关酶硫酸基转移酶(SULT1E1)和硫酸酯酶(STS)蛋白在子宫平滑肌瘤中的表达情况及其在发病机制中的作用。方法:采用免疫组化方法检测28对石蜡包埋的子宫平滑肌瘤组织和肌瘤旁组织中SULT1E1和STS蛋白表达。结果:子宫平滑肌瘤组织中SULT1E1蛋白阳性表达率为39.29%,STS阳性表达率为71.43%,肌瘤旁组织中SULT1E1蛋白阳性表达率为50.0%,STS蛋白阳性表达率为32.14%。子宫平滑肌瘤与肌瘤旁组织比较,SULT1E1和STS蛋白表达差异均有统计学意义。结论:子宫平滑肌瘤组织中SULT1E1低表达、STS过量表达,导致组织局部出现高雌激素水平,这可能在子宫平滑肌瘤的发生、发展过程中起重要作用。 Objective: To explore the expressions of estrogen sulfation enzymes-sulfotransferase (SULT1E1) and sulfatase (STS) in uterine leiomyoma and their roles in pathogenesis of uterine leiomyoma. Methods: Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expressions of SULT1 E1 and STS proteins in 28 pairs of paraffin-embedded uterine leiomyoma specimens and normal uterine tissue specimens adjacent to leiomyoma. Results: The positive expression rates of SULT1E1 and STS proteins in uterine leiomyoma were 39. 29% and 71.43%, respectively; the positive expression rates of SULT1E1 and STS proteins in normal uterine tissue adjacent to leiomyoma were 50. 0% and 32. 14% , respectively. There were statistically significant differences in the positive expression rates of SULTIE1 and STS proteins between uterine leiomyoma and normal uterine tissue adjacent to leiomyoma. Conclusion: Low expression of SULT1E1 and over-ex- pression of STS in uterine leiomyoma can increase estrogen level, which may play important roles in occurrence and development of uterine leiomyoma.
