摘要
古希腊存在着宇宙是一还是多的争论。原子论者认为宇宙有多个,而亚里士多德和柏拉图则认为宇宙是唯一的。亚里士多德对此问题的论证,不仅说明了他与原子论者持有不同立场的原因,也展示了类比在其自然研究方法中的核心地位。
There was a debate about one or many worlds among the ancient Greek philosophers. Aristotle argued against that there can be multiple worlds in the De Caelo. A close reading of his argumentation would help us understand the reasons for his one world proposal, as well as how analogy is used as a scientific method in his natural studies.
