The implementation of industrial water use quota can be reflected by every aspect of water use management, which is not only beneficial for highly efficient and effective protection of water resources, but also water consumption of enterprises and scientific management for water conservation. Existed problems with revision of water abstraction quota and its implementation and management and main reasons are examined and then relevant suggestions are made. Several key issues related to industrial water use and quota management that need to be solved recently are summarized, which should provide guidance to water administrative department and industrial enterprises for water management in a scientific and highly efficient manner.
