摘要 学习空间是指用于学习的场所,它蕴含着学习可以发生在任意场所、学习空间包括物理空间和虚拟空间、以建构主义等主流学习理论以及学习科学为关照理论、需要借助信息技术的增强、其最终目标是为了促进学习者的学习等丰富隐喻。实践方面,目前国际上主要有五个典型的学习空间项目,分别是SCALE-UP项目、TEAL项目、TILE项目、改造大学学习空间项目、未来课堂项目。这些实践项目主要聚焦于对家具的设计,注重发挥信息技术的作用,强调学习空间应包括灵活的布局、圆形课桌、多屏空间、信息共享等功能特征。研究方面,当前学习空间的研究尚处于初期阶段,相关学术研究文献的数量较少、质量较低,一些学习空间设计的理论依据缺乏科学性,严谨的实证研究也比较匮乏。未来高校和研究机构应组建跨学科的研究团队,进一步拓展研究领域,加强领域内外的交流和合作,共同推进学习空间的基础理论研究和实践。 Learning space refers to the place for learning. It contains rich metaphors, including that learning can occur in any places, learning spaces incorporate both physical space and virtual space, the background theory of learning contains the learning sciences and the mainstream learning theory such as the constructivism theory, it need be enhanced by information technology, and the ultimate goal is to promote learners' learning. Recent advances in learning spaces are presented with reference to five representative projects, namely SCALE-UP, TEAL, TILE, Retrofitting University Learning Spaces and Future Classroom. There are common characteristics in the design of these learning spaces, such as highly flexible seating arrangements and facilities for instantaneous information sharing within and across groups;yet it is also already clear that research on learning spaces is still in an early stage because of a small amount and poor quality of related academic research literature, the lack of scientific basis of learning spaces design and the shortage of rigorous empirical research. In the future, universities and research institutes should establish the interdisciplinary research team to further expand the research field as well as strengthen exchanges and cooperation in areas inside and outside.
