Study on the Mechanism of “NP+V+de bushi A,(er)shi B”

先前研究对"NP+V+的不是A,(而)是B"新构的构成机理存在较大争议,解释不一。研究基于认知构式语法理论,认为惯性压制是化解该修辞新构中句法误配的重要手段,并通过精简与合并,促成新构。此外,组分B发生的"结果代动作"转喻是压制得以形成的内在动因。

There are considerable disagreements upon the mechanism of the construction ＂NP＋V＋de bushi A, （er）shi B＂ in previous studies. Based on cognitive construction grammar theory, this study considers Inertia Coercion as an important means to the resolution of the mismatch between the verb and object B in the construction, which forms the new rhetorical construction through condensation and combination. Moreover, the Result for Action metonymy in object B is the internal motivation for coercion.
