An Analysis of Un-Accusative Motion Construction from the Perspective of Conceptual Blending Theory

本文试图通过概念整合理论来分析移动非受格构式生成的认知理据。文章首先回顾了Goldberg对移动非受格构式的研究,并指出了这一研究的不足与缺陷,从而提出概念整合理论对移动非受格构式的研究具有更强大阐释效力。作为人类一种基础和普遍的认知能力,概念整合理论为构式理论的研究可以提供一个新的视角。

The paper attempts to analyze the motivation of the generation of unaccusative motion construction. Firstly, we review the research on unaccusative motion construction by Goldberg and point out some defects and inadequacies of this research. Then, we propose that the blending theory can serve as a more powerful explanatory tool in the research of un-accusative motion construction. As a basic and universal cognitive operation, the blending theory provides constructional research with a new perspective.
