Along with the development of our country’s econ-omy and the acceleration of urbanization, city construction has also been emphasized. In the future construction, the protect-tion of natural ecological environment and resources of the city to realize sustainable development is the primary task of city planning. This paper is intended to explore the trend of devel-opment of modern city construction and key points of ecol-ogical city planning.
