九月底去香港回来，把拍得的几张大澳渔村照片放上网，有朋友说：“这是我没看过、也想不到的香港！”大澳渔村位于大屿山西端，离“灯火闪亮，整夜未眠”的海港至少一小时车程，十年前香港朋友带我来过，今日再访，变化不大，棚屋仍在。为了找住宿，还意外地发现渔村里有一座旧警署活化再利用的大澳文物酒店。
During her visit to Hong Kong, Jian Zhaoling rejoices in the diversity of the Hong Kong cityscape that includes state-of-the-art skyscrapers to the non-descript Iowrises. She tracks the tension between competing versions of Hong Kong to Tai O, where shanties and colonial police dormitories testify to history＇s vicissitudes.
