罗隐里籍、年寿、科举及《忆夏口》诗考异

Textual Research on Luo Yin's Native Place,Lifetime,Imperial Examination and “Memories of Xiakou”

晚唐诗人罗隐里籍有余杭、钱塘、新登三说,应以新登为准。年寿有七十七岁,八十余二说,应以七十七岁为是。为其贡举而未及第事,先后有吴融、韦庄为之上疏奏表,然皆未果。《忆夏口》有异文若干,事涉建制沿革及《过夏口》等诗,足证罗隐终生对怀才不遇之命运一直耿耿难释怀。

Luo Yin, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, was born in Xindeng though there are three theories of Yuhang, Qiantang and Xindeng about his native places. His lifetime should be seventy-seven rather than over eighty years. He was recommended for civil examinations for government degrees, but failed. Poets Wu Rong and Wei Zhuang recommended him one after another in vain for the emperor. He had different poems of ＂Memories of Xiakou＂ covering administrative divisions like the poem of ＂Crossing Xiakou. ＂ Evidently he had unrecognized talents, which obsessed him all his life.
