Because of the advantages in aspects of books, information, and space, etc.,the public library has become an ideal place for social education. Taking Pudong Library as an example, this paper probes into the significance of public library＇s social education, expounds the practice and effect of Pudong Library＇s social education, and puts forward some paths for the public library to carry out the social education.
