Urban crime as a problem emerges as cities modernized and people's living standards improved. Streets are high occurrence places of urban crimes. According to CPTED theory, public space design impacts crime rates. The paper indicates the significance of crime prevention design in neighborhood planning, studies the relationship between street design and crimes in classical cases, and puts forward design measures for crime prevention in neighborhood model, street network, node design, and supervision.
